Some of you are aware that I had to treat that white shirt in order to remove some weird and stubborn stains that were already present when I first got hold of that uniform. Many thanks to someone who provided the solution (pardon the pun) to remove the stains and those who contributed sound suggestions.This incident occurred four months back. It took me up till now to tell this story as I'd been thinking hard about whether I was really turning into a typical $in-gaporean who sees 'ghosts' (hallucinations) 24/7. Well, I haven't seen that 'thing' again, so I don't think I've gone nuts or anything. :P
Anyway, this is what happened.
One night, as I was coming out of my bedroom to get some water, I spotted a faint figure dancing in the dark. As I have an extraordinary ability to see even in the darkness, I could make out that it was a small and terribly short man wearing a white polo T-shirt and white pants. My first thought was, it was a burglar, so I made a charge at him. Immediately, it realised that it had been spotted, so it dashed towards the balcony, where that shirt and my clothes were hanging. For unknown reasons, as soon as it saw that shirt, it halted and bounced back. I was closing in fast. As it couldn't get past that shirt, it turned around and made its way out by passing through the door. That was when I realised that 'he' was actually an 'it'.
For the first time in my life, I encountered a demon face to face. In the past, I had seen some for a few seconds, from the corner of my eye. They were very afraid of being spotted and would usually flee into rooms quickly. There was one I saw in a 'haunted' house in Malaysia that terrorised a family for decades. I believe them as I'd seen 'it' with my own eyes.
Some questions remain unanswered and I'm overwhelmed by curiosity. What made that shirt so special? Is it because it had been worn by me or the previous owner? Or could it be because it had been worn by both of us? Why did the demon have to use the door when it could have simply passed through the walls? The mystery just runs deeper.
One thing is clear though. On their own, demons do not have the ability to harm me. It is only when they're possessing the bodies of $in-gaporeans that they can actually do some harm to me.
You know, I might want to sell that 'magical' uniform to a rich corporation for 100 million dollars. *Lol* Nah, it's not for sale.
