NEW DELHI: A city court remanded the owner of a private placement agency, accused of raping a woman on the pretext of giving her a job, to fourteen days judicial custody.
Metropolitan Magistrate (MM) Ashutosh Kumar remanded the accused, Manmohan Singh (58), the owner of Navjeevan placement agency, to judicial custody till October 18.
Singh had allegedly raped her after mixing sedatives in her tea, the police claimed.
