Ugh. I can't believe this.
So I registered hug.me in the third phase of .me coming online. I forget what the phases are called...
In the first phase you could only register brand names. The second phase cost a few hundred to a thousand dollars to register a domain, but it was on a first-come first-serve basis.
The third phase was more decently priced, but if two people registered the same name, there'd be an auction. I kind of misunderstood that, though, and thought I'd registered during a phase where there wouldn't be an auction...
Turns out hug.me went for $16,000 during the auction. I so should've forked over the grand to reserve it earlier, and then sold it.
