Death Switch

Imagine that you die with computer passwords in your head, leaving co-workers without access to critical files. Imagine your loved ones cannot find your bank accounts or that you die with a secret that you longed to reveal during your lifetime. Death Switch can help.

Write an email message with what you want to say to your family and/or friends. For a fee, you can also attach a file to the email.

Then send it to Death Switch and they will email you on a regular basis to check if you are still alive, and you will inform them by responding to the email. If you don’t respond, they will prompt you with several more emails. If you still don’t respond, Death Switch will assume that you are either dead or incapacitated, and they will then send out your email to the person you have previously designated.
