Some might say that I really ought to be feeling sorry for him, but you know, he got what he deserved. Had he spent his time learning how to do things right (as I did) instead of trolling, he would have enjoyed a flawless Ubuntu upgrade. In fact, the gdesklets bug that I experienced prior to the upgrade disappeared altogether.
What can I say? This is a typical case of a poor workman blaming his own tools.
