"The operating system upgrade anticipation is in the air, and as each day passes, it’s becoming so real that you can almost taste it. Of course, I’m not suggesting that you lick the shrink-wrap on that retail copy of Windows Vista, but you get the point. Many of us (especially some Windows users) have been patiently waiting for the revised version of our operating system of choice to make its debut, and we’re almost at the point where we can get our grubby hands on the new versions of either Windows, OS X, or both. We’ve discussed, speculated, and previewed them obsessively, and soon enough, the general public will be able to see if the wait was worth it. When that time comes, they’ll have to decide whether or not an upgrade is warranted."
